Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India has declared the exam dates for Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED-2015), which will be conducted in December 2014. The CEED will be held on 07 December, 2014 on Sunday.
CEED is conducted for taking admission to Master of Design (M.Des.) program offered at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad & IIT Kanpur and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in Design offered at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur and IIT Hyderabad for the academic session 2015
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must either have completed or be expecting to complete any of the subsequent, by July 2015:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design or equivalent (4 years programmes after 10+2)
Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT or equivalent of 4 years duration after 10+2)
B.F.A. (4 year professional programs, after 10+2)
G.D. Art (5 year programs after 10th) with one year post qualification, proficient in related field
Master’s degree in Arts / Science / Computer Applications (2 year programs after 10+2+3)
NOTE
Candidates possessing 3 years Bachelors degree are not eligible
The candidate is accountable for showing eligibility while seeking admission to the specific programs in which they are interested
There is no age barrier and a candidate can appear for CEED any number of times
How to Apply:
CEED Application Form must be submitted online,along the website the non-refundable application fee is Rs. 2000/- for men of General and OBC group, and Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST group, physically disabled (PD), and all women candidates
Women (All Categories) Rs. 1000/-
Candidates who declare to be in SC/ST/OBC category have to produce valid certificates issued by appropriate authorities
Fees can be paid through: State Bank of India Collect Facility via Internet Banking/Credit Cards/Debit cards
Directions for Filling the ONLINE Application Form:
The applicant has to upload their signature, photograph and other documents
Paper copies of the form or several other documents must NOT be submitted CEED 2015 Online Application Interface requires that copies of your photograph and signature be uploaded as electronic files
Please upload good quality photographs
Poor quality of photographs submitted will lead to rejection of your CEED application, without any repayment of the application fees
The CEED Score Card will comprise the photograph you submit and also a photograph that will be taken at the time of the exam
Scanned copy of your PwD certificate (pdf file) issued by an appropriate authority for PwD category (Appendix D)
Scanned copy of your eligibility certificate (pdf file); degree certificate if the course is completed or the certificate from the Principal of your college (Appendix E) if the course is not completed
Admit Cards
Admit cards will be accessible for downloading from the CEED website from 07th Nov 2014 to 06th Dec 2014
Please take a clear printout (in color) of the admit card before coming to the examination centre
Examination Centres
Bengaluru, Delhi, Bhopal, Guwahati, Calicut, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kanpur, Pune, Kolkata, Nagpur, Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram
After submission of the application, appeal for change of examination city will be accepted till 30th October 2014 with a fee of Rs. 500/- to be paid in the figure of demand draft in favor of IIT Bombay, to be paid at Mumbai
Result: Result will be declared on 15th January 2015
The Score cards will be accessible for download from 22nd January 2015
The Score Card is suitable for a phase of two years from the date of declaration of the results website.
