Qualification: Candidate should have a post graduation (M.sc) in Meteorology/ Agro- meteorology/ Agricultural physics/ soil science/ Geophysics/ Agronomy plus have knowledge in computer applications.
Desirable: It is desirable for someone to have familiarity with Agro met Advisory Services, Crop Weather Modeling, Data analysis and correlated areas.
Hiring Process: Hiring would be done by a face to face interview.
Pay Scale: Selected persons will get a salary in between Rs 15,600 – Rs 39,100, plus will get a grade pay of Rs 5,400.
Fees of Application: Candidate has to deposit an A/c Payee Bank Draft for Rs 300, in the name of the Director of Research (Agriculture), Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-13. The application fee is non-refundable.
Process of Application: The application should reach its destination, to the office of (G. N. The candidate should attach attested copies of all certificates/mark sheets etc and other experience certificate, if any.
